DURABLE AND PORTABLE

MiniMerc balances durability and

portability with its sleek aluminum design,

making it easy to transport between home,

school or work.

The detachable hand/shoulder strap is

ideal for an ambulatory user and can be

removed when you use the MiniMerc on

a table or mounted to a wheelchair. For

wheelchairs, use our MiniMerc mounting

plate and any mounting option listed on

the last page.

POWERFUL & CONVENIENT

Use the MiniMerc’s external CD/RW drive

to install any Windows XP-compatible

software and make backup copies of your

les. With the optional CardBus Cable con-

nected to the drive, you can play DVDs.

COMMUNICATION BOARD SETS

Functionally Speaking is a new 3-set series

of ATI-designed communication boards that

gives device users a powerful and exible

communication solution. These board sets

are pre-installed on MiniMerc and require

Speaking Dynamically Pro software to run.

features. It is a fully-integrated Windows

XP-based computer and

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device that is

portable, powerful, and easy to use. MiniMerc helps people with communication, access or

learning difculties lead more independent and productive lives.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL

MiniMerc includes the same infrared technol-

ogy as the Mercury. Over 4,000 pre-

programmed signals for most brands of

televisions, VCRs, DVD players, satellite

and cable receivers are built into the unit.

Additionally, the MiniMerc’s X-10 command

set allows users to turn on and off lights and

household appliances (additional equipment

required).
